RSPCA urges animal lovers to foster pets amid centre overcrowding
The RSPCA is appealing for people to foster animals as its centres across England and Wales face unprecedented pressure.
The RSPCA is urging animal lovers to open their homes to foster pets as rising cruelty and neglect cases strain its facilities. The charity has more than 7,000 animals in care at any one time, with over 1,000 currently housed in private boarding facilities awaiting space at RSPCA centres. Fostering provides a temporary home while animals recover, prepare for adoption, or await legal proceedings.
