Faithfuls win Celebrity Traitors after Acaster's shock confession
Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft won The Celebrity Traitors after comedian James Acaster confessed to being a traitor mid-game.
Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft won the second series of The Celebrity Traitors as faithfuls, splitting the £83,000 prize for charity. The finale followed James Acaster's dramatic self-confession at Thursday's penultimate roundtable, where he revealed his traitor status under pressure from Michael Sheen's questioning about Ross Kemp's murder. Acaster, who said he had wanted to be a faithful throughout the competition, was then voted out. In Friday's final, the remaining faithfuls successfully identified and banished the two remaining traitors, Maya Jama and King Kenny, with Kenny ultimately betraying his fellow traitor. The series attracted over 15 million viewers across four weeks.
