Apple launches touchscreen MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR display
Apple has released its first touchscreen MacBook Pro, featuring a new PROLED XDR display, slimmer design and higher price.
Apple has released the MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display, its first touchscreen laptop. The 14-inch model weighs 3 pounds, down from 3.7 pounds, and the 16-inch weighs 4 pounds, down from 4.7 pounds. The 14-inch starts at $2,899 and the 16-inch at $3,399. Multiple reviewers found the touchscreen useful in specific situations—zooming photos, tapping videos and using iPhone mirroring—but agreed it does not fundamentally change the laptop experience. The standout feature is the new OLED screen and overall design refinement.
