Carrick insists he is not concerned by United's crisis ahead of Roma
Michael Carrick says he is looking forward to Manchester United's Champions League match against Roma despite the team's nine-match winless run.
Michael Carrick has insisted he is not concerned about Lisandro Martínez's commitment to Manchester United, despite the defender's recent criticism of the club's hierarchy and his red card in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. Carrick said the player's attitude was not in question, adding that the dressing room remains in good condition. The Manchester United manager acknowledged that people might think him 'crazy' for looking forward to Tuesday's Champions League match against Roma at Old Trafford, given the team's worst nine-match winless run since 1988–89. Carrick said he cannot predict the future but is focused on the game ahead, not on speculation about his own position.
