York will host the UK Film Production Summit on November 5 as part of the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival, attracting more than 150 industry professionals including senior producers, commissioners and development executives. McDonald's at Bilborough Top, located off the A64 between York and Tadcaster, closed on 21 September for refurbishment as part of the brand's 'reimagining programme'. The restaurant will reopen on 22 October. A McDonald's spokesperson said the revamp will improve the experience for customers and staff.
